Open Spaces

McCarthys completed London strip out and refurbishment project for Landlords re marketing of Space

In the Board Room

McCarthys have completed a high end design and fit out of a Board Room in Central London which has include the design, specification and construction of a be-spoke Glass Board Room table.

The existing board room was dated with dark woods, floor and wall finishes. McCarthys design transformed the space with light and bright fixtures and finishes.

The inclusion of an architectural floating ceiling with lighting effects and an integrated AV wall allows the space to be used for video conferencing, presentations as well as a more traditional meeting space.

Phased Progress

McCarthys are near completion of Phase Two of Woodland Grange bedroom and bathroom refurbishment.

These works are part of a £1M refurbishment programme being undertaken by the client.

McCarthys are contractors for the works programme but also undertook a detailed design and specification process with the Conference Centre prior to any budgets being signed off. A sample room was refurbished first so the client could get a real tactile 'feel' for the space, design, specifications and colour ways.

There are six phases within the programme of refurbishment running into September 2014 taking into account 114 bedrooms in total.

Through McCarthys design process the new  bathrooms have a luxurious feel to them with imported Italian floor and wall tiling throughout.
All fixtures and fittings have been concealed to create neat and clean lines. The toilet and wash hand basins are suspended to allow for easy cleaning.

Expanding Orders

McCarthys Managing Director Steve McCarthy is delighted with the addition of over £1.4M of project orders received in the previous week.

"Although we had to wait unit the close of play on Friday for the second of two orders that week to be confirmed, we have received confirmation from two of our clients for a project of circa £400k and one of just over £1M going live with immediate effect."

"This is fantastic for the business and local contractors we employ. Both projects are in Coventry."

"We (McCarthys) are actively growing the business and these projects are in line with our plans and adding to our confidence going forward"

McCarthys are delighted to have handed over the first phase of rooms which are already in use by cliental.

Having advertised the refurbishment programme in the press McCarthys client is delighted with the higher level of bookings and positive feedback received so far and higher level of room rate achievable.

Looking smart in the Board Room

McCarthys have completed a full refurbishment of our clients Executive Board Room in central London.

McCarthys provided various design, visuals and budget options for the space and narrowed down the design, finishes and cost for sign off before any works took place on site.

The project was then completed in budget and to tight time constraints in an active and busy conferencing building.

The key piece of the project was a bespoke designed and constructed Media Wall and glass Board Room table to seat 12+ people with built-in power, data and AV connectivity.
